This week’s MacroDay Challenge: HAIR [suggested by me (!) ]
This shot showcases one of the reasons I am fascinated by macro photography: I love the element of surrealism that can be brought into play simply by taking a different perspective on the mundane.
This is not a landscape shot of a forest-like area, despite it’s title. It is in fact, my hairbrush, hence its submission into this week’s challenge.
Camera: Nikon CoolPix 3200
Setting: Macro, Vivid Colour
If you like it, please vote for it on MacroDay after Sunday 4th June 06.

Verrrrrrrrrry cool shot! I also love the fact you are shooting with a Nikon. I get picked on by the Canon users that come to my site.
Cheers

Ain’t nothin’ wrong with a Nikon, in my experience atleast
Admittedly the flooding nature of the flash on this CoolPix 3200 drives me nuts on occassion, but as “point-and-shoot” digitals go, the macro feature on it ain’t half bad… I long for the days where I own a Nikon D70…
Spooky! *shudder*

I’ll sell you my d70, im buying my d200 in a few weeks.
Go Team Nikon!
You’re selling your D70? How much for?
Great shot Claire.
Wow Claire! That’s a great picture. I can see why you’re into the macro thing. Very cool.
Cheers Sam
