    I know! I’ve had “She’s Always in My Hair” and “If I Was Ur Girl­friend” on a loop for hours [no exaggeration].

    For me, that word sums up the past week whilst I’ve been await­ing the arrival of a much anti­cip­ated CD of his in the post. It arrived about an hour after I blogged. :)

    My obses­sion with that little man has led me to dis­cover that there are 2 camps of people in this world: Those that think he’s a creepy little weirdo and those that think he’s gor­geous, a musical genuis and would mer­rily lick the soles of his hand­made cus­tom cuban-heeled boots!

    No prizes for guess­ing which camp I’m a card-carrying mem­ber of… :D
    But I can totally under­stand that his appeal is lim­ited and his eccent­ri­city and musical exper­i­ment­a­tion an acquired taste…

    His work-rate and abil­ity astounds me… I’ve got 8 of his albums…“only” about 28 more to go… :D

    No I’m not! I should be, shouldn’t I? LOL! I was talk­ing to a group of people the other day and it turned out 7 out of 10 of them were Prince fans. Why must Prince fans be so quiet about their fan­dom? Maybe we aren’t rare…maybe we just don’t com­mu­nic­ate with each other enough. Hahahah!

    I think it’s fear of rejec­tion that stuns us into silence… After all, its a big thing to say you’re obsessed with a man who spent his early career wear­ing women’s under­gar­ments and a Flasher’s mack!! :D
