This time next week, my blog turns a whole one year old.

To com­mem­or­ate this (non) event, I would like to invite you all (lurk­ers included) to take a few minutes out of your day, have a cup of tea and a sit down and browse my (new) archives.

I’m hop­ing to post up a “Read­ers’ Choice/Best Of” — type list and would appre­ci­ate it if you could nom­in­ate some of your favour­ite posts for inclu­sion on the list. I think such a list would help new read­ers (as who wants to sift through 12 months of archives?!) and I’ll also get a chance to see where I’ve gone “right” and “wrong” this past year (hey, just because I think that xyz is funny, it doesn’t mean you lot do…)

Simply, have a browse and com­ment with the titles/links of your faves. You can add a little as to the reason for your choice(s), if you like, but I under­stand that trawl­ing through my online gub­bins is a time con­sum­ing task as it is.

To aid your search, you will notice that my archives have been sig­ni­fic­antly revamped. It’s also worth not­ing that I’ve been busy tweak­ing and have fixed the column align­ment errors in Inter­net Explorer, I’d failed to notice it dur­ing test­ing as my IE win­dow wasn’t fully max­im­ised and those few pixels were mask­ing a mul­ti­tude of wonky lay­out sins (bugger).

I know there are plu­gins that gen­er­ate the most “pop­u­lar” posts via page-view stats, but I don’t think that would neces­sar­ily gen­er­ate the “true” favour­ites, just those that hap­pen to come up in searches the most etc.

So, I sit here meekly and await your response(s).
