She went for an interview on Tuesday and got the call this afternoon. She doesn’t start for several weeks (CRB checks and all that malarkey), but at least it’s a light at the end of the tunnel.
Let’s hope the placement works out this time.

Ooh, a CRB check — does that mean she’ll be working with kids?
I found out when I was having mine done last year that — apparently — if you’ve not moved around a lot in the past few years they don’t take long. However, if you have it can take longer. I don’t know how accurate that is but there we go.
