The Bit With Constructive Criticism…

Blogging has been difficult of late. It seems I only have a limited reservoir of writing energy and my new course has now imposed a hose pipe ban on my blog.

I’m in the process of finishing my first assignment and already I’m getting nervous. I’m trying my best to be brave when concerning letting other read my work, but to be honest, it only ever seems to back-fire.

K’s idea of constructive criticism goes to the tune of:

Claire: (hopeful) So, what did you think?
K: I don’t like it
Claire: Okaaay (a little deflated), why?
K: I don’t know
Claire: Well, what in particular don’t you like about it?
K: I don’t know, I just don’t like it
[Repeat the above 2 lines x3]
Claire: (frustrated) Yes, but unless you tell me what don’t you like about it, I can’t fix it!“
K: *shrugs*
Claire: Aarrgghh!!

Therefore, I can safely deduce that my writing is totally cack, but I’m still at a loss as to why…
